The Wren Group, Inc. provides consulting on and training in QuickBooks for small businesses.

Consulting

We have many options to support clients who are starting or transitioning into QuickBooks or reviewing their current QuickBooks procedures. Many of the same steps are taken whether a client uses QuickBooks or is just starting out. We come on-site to meet you and learn about your business. We listen to your needs and learn about your current financial status and where you want to go with your business. We'll ask about your vendors, employees, and incorporation structure.

For clients already using QuickBooks, we review the entire client file - including the chart of accounts, item listing, invoicing procedures and overall use of QuickBooks. A profit and loss as well as a balance sheet is analyzed and checked.

After our meeting we analyze your business and take a look your areas of concern and address how we can help. Each client receives a detailed action plan on the transition into or the review of their system with specific achievement deadlines that we meet.

Training

We have clients that already have their QuickBooks systems set up and they need help using their system or they have questions about better ways to use it. We are happy to come in and train one person or the entire staff on their particular job functions. We provide handouts that show step-by-step instructions for each type of entry - from invoicing to entering and paying bills. A customized training plan is created for your business and times are scheduled at your convenience - on your system and in your offices.
